Pollution Prevention
Opportunities to reduce or prevent pollution are all around us. It is not just the proper disposal of waste, but also the choices that we can make when making initial purchases. We should buy items with the least amount of packaging and buy durable goods. We also need to keep a watchful eye on what is going on in our own neighborhoods. Is anything been illegally dumped? What is the proper way to dispose of batteries, varnish, paint, etc? Is a construction site causing soil erosion?
